Azar (آزر) is mentioned in the Quran as the father of Ibrahim (Abraham). This concept is part of the following classification in the ontology:

وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَٰهِيمُ لِأَبِيهِ ءَازَرَ أَتَتَّخِذُ أَصْنَامًا ءَالِهَةً إِنِّىٓ أَرَىٰكَ وَقَوْمَكَ فِى ضَلَٰلٍ مُّبِينٍ
(Rappelle le moment) où Abraham dit à `Azar, son père: «Prends-tu des idoles comme divinités? Je te vois, toi et ton peuple, dans un égarement évident!»
